| Industry Insights We believe that meeting business objectives, performing marketing activities, designing a great user experience and actually creating the product aren't individual processes that exist in a vacuum. Pinpoint Logic has always known these processes need to be integrated for a business and its product to be successful.
We've been helping our clients perform these processes using an interdisciplinary approach. This approach helps them form a cohesive business strategy which ultimately translates into success for their overall business, their products, their timelines and their budgets.
Now it seems like the rest of the pack is beginning to understand our philosophy and is incorporating similar methodologies. Check out these two articles: | | Extended Retail Solutions, a publication that focuses on technology issues for retail organizations, has published an article titled Customer-centric Strategy is Key to Digital Signage Solutions in which they endorse this process for digital signage: - Focus on the customer.
- Engage the application developer early.
- Consider holistic solutions.
- Embrace the opportunities.
Perhaps we've found our kindred spirits in the ad world. Read the article:
Customer-centric Strategy -> | Do you remember in our July newsletter when we told you about crowdsourcing? Well, Strategy + Business has a great article titled My Customer, My Co-Innovator, which provides more evidence that companies are realizing the value of incorporating the user in the product development process.
At Pinpoint Logic, we take it a step further and believe focused involvement from the business, the marketer, the user and the producer make an even better product.

| What's New With Us? What do the US military, a travel website, and a Web component and accessory company all have in common?
We know, it’s tough a question.
Pinpoint Logic helped them out by providing successful solutions and an overall better final product. Check it out. - CALIBRE is a Virginia based company that provides technological and management services. We led a workshop for CALIBRE to help them understand the requirements and interface issues on a project for a branch of the U.S. Military. With our help, the CALIBRE team overcame important key challenges. Our relationship continues. We are now working closely with CALIBRE'S development team to ensure that the end product meets the user's needs.
- Group Travel Planet handles the fulfillment of group travel for Orbitz. Every time users booked more than 10 rooms at a time, the user interface got a bit confusing. So they contacted Pinpoint Logic to improve their user interface. We helped them figure out the issue and solve the problem.
- Maxcess International, a manufacturer of web handling equipment, needed our help with two projects— Customer Relationship Management (CRM) web integration and Internationalization of their resources database. We provided simple to use and cost-effective solutions for both of the projects they brought to us.
